Chervrolet pick up from 1955
Men stay forever children, just their toys become more bigger and expensive. Ever since two years ago, when my Chevy 55 from Kansas moved into the garage, I'm living my boyhood dream! Love towards that cult automobile was born first time I saw it in a movie. In the last half of last century, that adorable pick up truck was so popular, that there was no movie where it wasn't featured in. It was driven by Ben Quick, standing on his recognizable, wide traces from the machine guns shot by movie gangsters, and to cowboys and farmers it was a favorite working car.

As the rest of his aluminum peers, my Chevy had a tumultuous history, transporting workers to american cotton fields, and when it broke down after hundreds of crossed miles, it ended up in a barn, and then on eBay, where i bought it, and shipped it by a boat to Croatia.

Buick Coupe from 1941
Three years ago when I finished a restoration of the Chevrolet, I thought it was my only oldtimer, and then in fall of 2009, I saw a beautiful coupe from 1941 that spent all its 70 year lifetime in Arizona. Since, snow, salt and rainy conditions were unknown in desert conditions, the car was of healthysheet metal and original color, of course completely faded. It wasnt expensive, so I immidiately arranged with its owners to have it shipped, and counted the days when a container would bring it to our city. Thanks to my friend Nenad, the car arrived the beggining of March 2010. The owners Jim and Dalene Eastham bought it from their for their honey moon 50 years ago. Since they had an emotional attachement to the Buick, they asked me to send them photos of all phases of restauration regularly. They could not believe that a car outside of America could be restaured so well.

Buick Sport from 1941, 8 cillinders, cylinder engine, 128 ks, 4380 cm3 in America is considered a prewar vehicle because their war involvement in 1942, when the car industry transitioned into war industry. Buick manufactured tanks and airplane engines up untill 1946. For that reason only 1500 Buicks of this model were manufactured. It is considered that only 80-100 are left today in the world, very rare and representative sample of prewar automobile technical culture.

This beautiful car, popularly called "doctor's car" was bought in 1930. by dr Jim Alan Greene, a dentist in Big Stone city, state of Virginia. He had him in possesion for 60 years until he passed away in 1990. His offspring have not driven it, it was held in a garage for 20 years, when his grandson James decided to sell it. It has been in my possesion for six months and my team has begun the restauration.
